September's Edition: Uji Ceremonial matcha tasting (Usucha Style)

🌱 September Matcha Tasting Workshop 🌱
This month, we’ll be exploring a curated lineup of matcha from some of Uji’s most renowned producers, including Marukyu Koyamaen, Kanbayashi Shunsho, Ippodo, Hekisuien, Maruyasu, and more.

Together, we’ll taste through as many selections as possible, comparing styles, textures, and flavors while learning to recognize the subtle differences between each maker. Attendees will be encouraged to note down their impressions and build their own flavor maps—an immersive way to deepen your appreciation of Uji’s diverse matcha traditions.

A rare opportunity to experience multiple legendary tea houses side by side—perfect for both curious beginners and seasoned tea lovers.

Location: near Olympic Village Station Canada Line (5min - 8min walk from the station).
Free & Paid parking spots also available nearby.

Workshop Cancellation & Date Change Policy

• Requests made 14 days or more prior to the workshop date: Eligible for a full (100%) refund or a one-time date change (subject to availability).

• Requests made less than 14 days of the workshop date: Not eligible for a refund or date change. A refund may only be issued if the reserved spot is successfully filled.

If you are unable to attend, you may offer your spot to friends or family who may be interested. We will make reasonable efforts to assist by advertising the availability of your spot through our social media channels; however, we cannot guarantee that the spot will be filled. If the spot remains vacant, no refund or date change will be granted.
