It requires some serious craftsmanship to make a fine chasen like this!

This black bamboo chasen is made from sustainably-sourced bamboo and has the most 120 prongs so you will whisk like a pro. You will get a bowl of beautifully frothy matcha for your daily enjoyment and/or to delight your guests.

The Bloom of Chasen

120 prong chasen is best for whisking usucha. After a couple of times of use, the outside tines will straighten out, the centre knot will bloom and the life of Chasen starts here.

Care Notes:

- Always keep your matcha whisk on a whisk holder when not in use

- Rinse it thoroughly after each use. If the whisk is in contact with dairy/sweeteners, whisk it in soapy water after use

- Pat dry and put it on the whisk holder

- Exam your chasen before each use. If any broken tines are found, remove them before whisking
