Handcrafted from one piece of hachiku purple bamboo, Shin-kazuho style chasen has lightly curved bristles; this style is commonly used by the Grand Master of Urasenke tea school.
The tips are soft yet flexible, and this whisk is suitable for both Koicha and Usucha preparation. It creates smoother and finer bubbles.
- Always keep your matcha whisk on a whisk holder when not in use
- Rinse it thoroughly after each use. If the whisk is in contact with dairy/sweeteners, whisk it in soapy water after use
- Pat dry and put it on the whisk holder
- Exam your chasen before each use. If any broken tines are found, remove them before whisking
