Recipe: Matcha Cheesecake

Calling all Cheesecake Connoisseurs! This Whisk recipe is for you. 

Treat yourself, family and friends to this rich, beautifully flavoured dessert that is still packed with the benefits of our Premium Japanese Matcha



1 cup crushed graham cracker

2 tbsp butter, melted


2 pkg cream cheese, at room temperature(or microwave 30 seconds to soften)

⅔ cup granulated sugar

2 eggs, at room temperature

2 tbsp Premium Organic Everyday Grade Matcha 

1 tsp vanilla extract



Preheat oven to 350 F degrees.In a bowl mix together graham cracker crumbs with the butter. Press down the mixture firmly onto the baking tray. Bake for 7 minutes and cool. Reduce heat to 300 F degrees.

Mix the cream cheese and sugar in a bowl until smooth and add the eggs, matcha green tea powder and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth - but don't over mix.  

Pour the mixture to the crust tray or form and bake for 20 minutes.  Remove from oven and let cool completely (about 15-20 minutes). 

Garnish with whipped cream, fresh raspberries and light dusting of matcha powder, if desired and... enjoy!
